girlreading Piano, dance, sports, language...we try to teach our children that when we practice, we get better at something.  Research suggests that when children practice reading, they're doing more than building grey matter - they also boost white matter, the "information highway" of our brain, which helps them think faster.

So, telling your children to "do it again" is worth the struggle.
