In the on-going culture wars, many conservatives won't want to read this article.

Dr. Satoshi Kanazawa, an evolutionary psychologist at the London School of Economics and Political Science, has written a controversial paper indicating that intelligence correlates with men who hold evolutionarily novel ideas. The IQ tests of men who were self-identified atheists, liberals, and sexually monogamous were higher than the IQ tests of men who self-identified as religious and conservative.

Interestingly, there was no correlation between the IQ tests of women who were self-described atheists and liberals and those women who identified themselves as religious or conservative.

Dr. Kanazawa co-wrote Why Beautiful People Have More Daughters (yes, it's available at the ATH store). He writes a regular blog for Psychology Today called The Scientific Fundamentalist.
