Are Mutations Really Random After All?

Could there be mutational hotspots in DNA that build on one another and attract more change?

In a new twist in evolutionary theory scientists are split as to whether genetic mutations occur only randomly, or if there are clusters of mutations that attract and trigger more change. If so, evolution might not happen quite the way we have been thinking it does.
