Human Species May "Split in Two"

Should H.G. Wells' The Time Machine be reclassified as non-fiction?

Science fiction author H.G. Wells' The Time Machine envisions a future where the human race has been split into two species - the androgynous Eloi and the apelike Morlocks.  Evolutionary biologist Oliver Curry has a theory that the human species may be on a analogous path that would create a genetic upperclass and less intelligent lower class.  Check out this BBC article for specifics on what he thinks the races will look like, as well as to hear what might happen if we depend too much on technology. Whether you agree with Curry or not - it's a fascinating read.
