Most religious traditions have some variant of the Golden Rule
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
But are we born with this notion in our genes?

Some children can show that they understand social rules at a young age. Studies show that our propensity to treat others as we would like to be treated reveals itself early in life and is to some degree wired into our nature.
