Can you tell which dots on the left panel are the same color as the ones on the right panel? It seems easy, right?  Maybe not...we're often fooled by what we see.  But Beau Lotto explains in this fascinating TED talk video the way our eyes and mind can be fooled also reveals that optical illusions and evolution unlikely, but fascinating, bedfellows. Know which dots are the same...?  We're not telling. ;-)

  1. This one would drive my husband crazy, but I think I saw the answer pretty quickly. But, if I already gave the answer, that could drive one of the ATH editors crazy, so I think I'll not give an answer. Yet.
