Why We Look the Way We Do
Do we look the way we do, just because our genes drifted a little, not because of the harsh forces of natural selection?

Tim Weaver of UC Berkeley says that human skulls of today take their shape from chance, not natural selection. After comparing various human skulls to Neanderthal skulls, Weaver believes the reason for our skull size is genetic drift. Chris Stringer from Natural History Museum of London and Charles Roseman from the University of Illinois also helped with the study.
